Cetacean Rising

It is the apocalypse; whales and/or dolphins moved onto land and have been trying to eradicate mankind. For the most part, they have been successful and mankind is now on the brink of extinction. A little family managed to survive up until this point. In this family were at least three generations of people.

The family managed to catch a dolphin and make a living along train tracks. After finding a place to settle, they would walk the dolphin a safe distance away and make it tell whales not to approach. This was the job of a middle-aged man, the father of all the children in the group. A device attached to a harness around the beast’s midsection locked the mechanism in place. It had the appearance of a fan and was used by the whales to communicate across vast distances on land.

The rest of the family began to set up camp over the tracks of the trains. There were ruins and debris left over from a huge battle between whales and humans as several lay dead nearby. No one noticed that the youngest daughter was already missing before their camp had even finished being set up. Then at dinner, all were oblivious to a nearby bear which had its arms mangled in a fierce battle with a moose-like creature, and it was still greatly upset. This would be the last time the family would sit and eat together like they’d done so many times before.

This dream was actually dreamt as a movie I was watching during a second Texas snow apocalypse. I still don't understand how it had such a creepy vibe when the whales and dolphins had to crawl on their bellies like worms. A silly dream that was fun to watch.

I shall call him "Prey." As he walked, he found himself upon an elevated plain where another were-cat appeared that I shall call "Hunter."  Hunter saw Prey, and both men responded to each other by shifting from human form into a semi-human form with long tails and spotted fur, like cheetahs or jaguars. Does Knowledge Puffeth Up?

Biblical Hermeneutics Why one might ask, is hermeneutics important? Have you ever heard the saying that knowledge puffeth up? It comes from 1 Corinthians 8:1 wherein which I have often heard it said to me as a form of discouragement due to my love of research and knowledge. The reason proposed is that knowledge makes you prideful; thus, knowledge is a dangerous pursuit for those not pastors. This idea is not only far from what Paul was trying to say, but it also contradicts statements like what is written in Hebrews 5:11-14. 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 "Knowledge puffs up, and love edifies" is best understood when read in its entirety and in comparison with "Acts 15:20; "Abstain from things contaminated by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood" which was written to Gentile believers and is the 4 rules that they had been given instead of being given the law as Jewish believers had insisted at the time. 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 is ...

Gray & Lupine

Dream April 30th, 2021 In this dream, I witnessed the interaction of two camps of were-folk that were in the middle of territorial conflicts. One camp considered itself morally good while simultaneously perceiving the other as morally gray and dangerous. This dream followed the perspective of the alpha of those that considered themselves to be good. The dream began in a hospital where he encountered a few members of the other camp. They came looking for him as he walked through the building and recognized him by his scent. They easily sniffed him out from among a crowd of people that filled the small hospital. Quickly he was tackled to the ground and dragged to the roof. He had little ability to resist them because he was alone at the moment versus the organized team of were-folk.
